For a gal that likes to dress in all black, neutrals will always be an exception.

Always.

NEUTRALS ARE EVERYONE’S BEST FRIENDS

regardless if you decide to wear one or from top to bottom, you’re always going to slay wherever you go. However, I’ll be showing you how you can step up your neutral OOTD by using different blush shades.

Also, please ignore the black coat; it was cold outside. Still made a cute look, though.

Anyways, if you’ve been following my blog for a while, I’ve emphasized the importance of sticking to similar hues if you want to achieve a sophisticated, modern look. The same concept applies to wearing neutrals as well.

So, in this handy dandy how to dress in neutrals guide, notice how this top from Groceries (I seriously cannot thank you enough for this adorable top, Alison) and these trousers are in the same color category: pink. The only difference is that one is darker than the other, yet it still works because they’re very similar colors.

ALSO, DON’T FORGET TO USE NEUTRALS FOR YOUR FOOTWEAR AS WELL

In this case, I used these lovely nude-colored, strappy-like mules to create an overall neutral look from top to bottom.

That was pretty easy, right? Now go out there and show off your newest and neutral-iest OOTD!

P.S. I’ll soon be adding some cool guides to many of my posts soon, so stay on the lookout!
