This is part of a five part series, this one featuring Lynt’s black, microdot jumpsuit.
The holidays are fast approaching, and that means that parties are, too. With the hustle and bustle, sometimes all you want to do is put on some of fashion’s basics: bottoms and a top, or in this case, some wide-legged faux trousers and an oversized sweater, the former being one of today’s hottest trends.
Believe me, this look is as easy as putting a sweater over your head.
For the most part, jumpsuits aren’t necessarily made for the wintertime as it tends to not cover enough skin. You may have noticed that this is the same with this piece from Lynt, a local athleisure brand I’ve been working with for a while now.
Like many of its other pieces, it has the trademark spaghetti straps that join together at the back. But as you may know, I do love a good jumpsuit and despite the chilly weather here in San Diego, I was determined to create a look that’s both chic as well as cozy at the same time.
With this, I bring you look #1: The Chic Look!
Earlier, I said
well, wrote, but you get the idea that the trousers were faux, and they are! With an oversized sweater, I was able to create the appearance of these awesome bottoms.
Personally, I’ve always loved a good pair of wide-legged jeans (they were a staple of mine, even during the skinny jean season). With a shorter hem, you can mimic the popular culottes that grew trendy this year, but I actually liked it a little longer, too.
