It’s friyay, loves! It seems like everything is moving sooooo fast, I can’t hardly believe it at times.
With music being today’s topic, there’s nothing better than blasting your fav tunes, especially when you’re by yourself
and you can pretend to be a rock star, or is that just me? I can’t be the only one who likes to dance when nobody’s watching, right? 😉
I’ve had my share of countless speakers, headsets, and earphones for these kinds of moments, so I was pretty excited when Michael of Specter Wireless wanted to collaborate with yours truly.
If you’ve been following me on social media or my blog, you may have noticed that my doggies love to sniff out all the cool things I get in the mail, the most recent being some bath products from Rock the Bath Bar. While this is probably irrelevant,
if my dog likes it which he does, fyi, then I’ll like it.
This wasn’t any exception in this behind-the-scenes shot (see above).
Almost immediately, I gravitated towards the ELUX headset. What attracted me to it was how simple it looks; I was never into the whole extravagance of most headsets
unless it was the bejeweled Dolce & Gabbana one Rhianna wore while promoting Anti, just saying. It also wasn’t clunky, water resistant, and had a cute metal detailing on the sides, so that was a huge plus.
Overall, it was a lot of fun to use, despite some slight pain from using it too long. I love the whole wireless thing the most, though
as it gives me more leeway to dance around, you feel me?
Next came the AQSTIX speakers. If you’re the kind of person to listen to music while in the bathroom, these speakers are perfect because they’re waterproof. I’ve used it a few times, and it still works just as well as when I first got it. According to their website, is is “constructed with an ultra-durable compression-sealed shell” and that you are able to listen to your favorite songs even while submerged 3 feet underwater. Now that’s what I call waterproof.
It also has a 12 hour battery life, too.
Another thing I noticed is that it doesn’t lose its sound quality, especially when it’s exposed to watery environments. For the most part, all the speakers I’ve used before this soon lost their sound quality even though they were labeled as waterproof. Weird, right? So, if you’re looking for a great speaker who won’t lose their bass, this is the right one for you.
Last but not least are the EFITZ earphones.
I have to admit, I thought they looked a little strange because it doesn’t look like your average set of
Apple earphones; instead of a Y shape, it’s a U shape. Unfortunately, they don’t fit my ears since mine are way too small, but my boyfriend loves them. No more getting caught on doorhandles, though!
Like the other products, its battery life is long (it’s 10 hours!) and is waterproof.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with the quality of each of the products. It’s a little on the pricey side of things, but as they say, better quality asks for more money.
Now it wouldn’t be a music post if I didn’t share my favorite songs, right? In no particular order, here’s my current top 10:
- The Weeknd – Die For You
- Drake – Passionfruit
- Digy – Tragedy ft. KIRSCH
- Katy Perry – Chained to the Rhythm
- Troye Sivan – Happy Little Pill
- BILLY – Not Over You
- Shy Girls – Xhampagne ft. Antwon
- The Neighborhood – Sweater Weather
- Niia – Sideline
- Leo Kalyan – Fucked Up
