The Sugar Spa Experience

Hello loves! I know I haven’t said this before aside from Chrissettes and I haven’t given up on that name juuuust yet, but I think I’ll definitely be using this a lot more, especially on my more casual lifestyle posts.

It’s been yet another busy week. I sometimes think that this is to be expected and more, especially since I’m a growing blogger. Being a Capricorn if you’re into the whole astrology thing like I am; don’t judge me, lol, I love working my butt off, especially if it’s a part of my purpose, aka my life goals.

But there are times where I overdo it.

For the most part, even as I’m burnt out, I’m still trying to find ways to work. Even as I’m writing or should I say, typing? this down, my brain’s mentally preparing me and my body for the next couple of tasks, which is pretty great and all. Most of the time.

I like to think my brain forgets I’m still very much human and I need to take a break. A real one, too.

At this time, I’ve already picked up a new job and you know how that can be: more exhaustion. It reminds me of the time when I used to work and go to school full time back when I was studying for a nursing degree I never got. While I have to say that life is pretty interesting when it comes to life-changing decisions like me changing my major out of the blue I don’t believe something’s worth pursuing if you won’t be happy, I’m still fine with this. I love being able to support myself.

But still, I deserved a break here and then.

So, you can imagine my surprise when I was asked to come back to The Sugar Spa again. If you have followed me for a while now, I’ve previously worked with them before, and I loved it! It was so much fun the last time, too.

Now, just because I’m going to a spa doesn’t mean I’ll be relaxing the whole time I’m still working!.

Fishnet trend

Also, if you’re wondering about why I chose this OOTD for a day at the sugar spa, let’s just say that I never pass up the opportunity to dress up wherever I go; it’s simply one of the style rules I live by. While I’ll eventually write up a blog post featuring some of the trends I’ve used in this very black and white outfit, I originally wasn’t going to use the fishnet stockings but changed my mind at the last minute since it got pretty cold.

Just like last time, I helped create and filmed a short ad for Snapchat for their teeth whitening products, which is easily done by yourself, just a heads up.

Aside from that, they do have some pretty cool facial treatments like the 24k Gold Mask and the LED Photo Facial Treatment in both blue and red light. I haven’t tried these yet, but from what I hear, they sound amazing and are amazing for your skin.

Aside from creating a fun ad and taking over their Snapchat for the whole day, I created this cool video on what I basically did there well, a summary is a much better word.

Be sure to check out the video down below!

Like always, be sure to visit The Sugar Spa here if you want to learn more about them as well as their True Company products.

Annnnd one more thing, they’re offering a membership plan that’s only $50 every month! Not only can you use that towards a facial every week, you can switch it around, too.

  1. I absolutely adore your OOTD. The fishnet stockings peeking through the jeans are so cute. I’ve never heard of Sugar Spa, but after watching you video it looks like I need to make a visit!!!

    1. You will definitely be spoiled there. The last time I went to the Philippines, I had a blast at the spa. Yes, you can! Just visit their website ( and go to their products section. Hope this helps. x

  2. Haha, I’m also a Capricorn, so my mind is always running a million miles a minute with ideas too and you can also say I’m overworked! Would you believe I’ve never been to a spa before? That obviously needs to change soon; pretty sure it would help me relax!

  3. What a great idea. Thank you for reminding me to take a break and recharge. I don’t believe we have a Sugar Spa here in Toronto. However I’m going to look for spa packages today. My birthday is coming up in May so perfect timing 🙂

    1. I’m glad you were able to find my post helpful! I hope you’ll be able to find a spa just for you. Also, happy early birthday. x <3
