Chrissy wearing a vintage sweater dress, vintage Prada kitten heels, and a Koko Couture Chrissie bag.

Hey Chrissettes!

It’s been a while since Fashion Week San Diego (FWSD) ended, but that hasn’t stopped the requests I’ve been getting. Throughout all five days and then some, I’ve received a lot of questions asking me where I got some of my pieces at. Since I believe in making the world more fashionable at a time, I have no problem sharing where I got everything from. 😛

Here’s a lil problem: Several of my wardrobe staples are either vintage or thrifted.

With this in mind, it does make it a tad bit difficult as I can’t put a label, so to speak, on every top, bottom, and accessory.

So, aside from the ones I can actually label, I’ve also added other alternatives that are all are below the $100 price point. Even with everything that’s going on today, lookin’ fabulous doesn’t mean you have to spend thousands of dollars.

Chrissy’s Style Tip: It’s all about how you style it!

Also, I’ve named all the looks just cuz I can + if you check out the Under $100 alternative looks, you may notice that they’re arranged in a certain way because I’ve styled them (in my head, of course). Every piece of jewelry, top, coat, and everything else went through a screening process before being selected, meaning that 1) they’re all Chrissy approved and 2) you gonna look so fly. 😉

So, let’s get started!

Chrissy wearing a vintage white blazer, black skinny pants, black strappy heels, a Forever 21 choker, and a Koko Couture Chrissie bag.

Red Pearl Premier: The Black and White Power Suit

Blazer: Vintage | Jeans: Thrift | Bag: Koko Couture | Shoes: Charlotte Russe

This look is so outrageously simple, I absolutely loved it! The formula of this particular look is pretty simple, too.

How to get the look: Consisted of a vintage blazer, black formal pants, some strappy heels, and a couple similarly colored accessories, this is by far one of the easiest (and chicest) looks I’ve ever styled.

Be sure to stick to at least two or three colors for that classy factor (mine was gold, white, and black).

Art & Beauty Behind Fashion: Sweater Weather

Dress: Vintage | Bag: Koko Couture | Shoes: Vintage Prada | Earrings: Forever 21 | Choker: DIY

Did I ever tell you how much I value simple dressing? If not, here’s another look that’s as easy as putting on a sweater…literally.

How to get the look: Using an oversized sweater, I turned it into a very cozy dress, added a pair of kitten heels as well as a bag and ribbon choker to create this look for the Art & Beauty presentation.

UNDER $100 LOOKS

Chrissy wearing a Daya by Zendaya coat, Forever 21 plaid dress, a Yesstyle sheer top, a Target beret, and Charlotte Russe sock boots.

The FWSD Runways Night one: Plaid and Faux Fur

Dress: Forever 21 | Mesh mockneck: Yesstyle | Coat: Daya by Zendaya (unavailable) | Shoes: Charlotte Russe | Beret: Target

Since it was the first night of the FWSD runway shows, I wanted to start off with a bang…while making sure I’d stay warm at the same time (it was located at the Broadway Pier). On the night before, I wasn’t going to add the mesh mockneck but went for it anyways.

Also, I’m pretty happy that plaid is having a moment again.

How to get the look: pair a strappy dress with a sheer, long-sleeved sheer undershirt. Don’t forget to add a pair of boots, a fuzzy coat, and a beret to complete this look.

UNDER $100 LOOKS

Chrissy wears a vintage blazer, Mango flared bottoms, a thrifted skinny belt, a Target beret, a vintage handbag, and round sunglasses.

The FWSD Runways Night Two: Mustard Monochrome

Blazer: Vintage | Bottoms: Mango | Shoes: Vintage Prada | Bag: Vintage | Earrings: gift

For most of my life, I’ve been pretty religious to black. Occasionally, I’d wear other colors every once in a while, but black was my go-to. But as the years went along, both me and my sense of style grew, too, and this look is one of the best representations of that growth, or as I like to call it, style evolution.

This look has been envisioned for a loooong time, and bringing it to life was one of the greatest style moments ever. Being part Filipino, it felt awesome to pay homage to my Filipino heritage aka the huge shoulder padded sleeves.

Chrissy wears a vintage blazer, Mango flared bottoms, a thrifted skinny belt, a Target beret, a vintage handbag, and round sunglasses.

How to get the look: I took a vintage blazer, inserted it, added a skinny belt, and some of my favorite accessories like these vintage Prada mules and this miniature bag.

UNDER $100 LOOKS

Chrissy wears a Charlotte Russe off-the-shoulder top, a thrifted skinny belt, Daba girl jeans, and a Koko Couture Chrissie bag.

Trunk Show at the Del: The Cold Shoulder

Top: Charlotte Russe | Bottoms: Daba Girl | Shoes: Christian Siriano | Necklace: thrift | Skinny Belt: Thrift | Bag: Koko Couture

Just a quick note, but I accidentally wore the wrong shoes for the photos. They were supposed to be the floral kitten heels instead.

Summer might be over, but I still love me a statement sleeve even if it happened to be an off-the-shoulder top.

Chrissy wears a Charlotte Russe off-the-shoulder top, a thrifted skinny belt, Daba girl jeans, vintage Prada kitten heels, and a Koko Couture Chrissie bag.

How to get the look: Think of it as the classic white top paired with blue denim OOTD. Using that knowledge, add some accessories like a skinny belt or a statement necklace to add some oomph and ta-da. You just made some magic happen. 😉

  1. I love all of these picks! They have such a gorgeous vintage look without being super expensive. Also, I like that they can be worn for chilly weather (as it will start getting cold soon). I could definitely see myself wearing all of these.

  2. I’m so in love with the mustard pants and the fur coat. Those pants give you legs for days and it is super chic! I also love how the coat can really add so much character to an outfit 🙂

  3. That’s the main thing I love about your looks here, regardless of whether or not we can find them, they’re vintage. I’m swooning over that sweater weather look!
