Today’s the first day of February, and I’m still processing this, lol. I can’t believe that January is over this fast.

Anyways, with that in mind, a special holiday is coming up: Valentine’s Day! Regardless if you spend it with your girl friends or go out on a fancy date, I’m excited to share with you a mini series filled with unique Valentine’s/Galentine’s Day OOTDs.

Let’s get started. 🙂

It’s cold. It’s hot. Then, it’s back to being unpredictable. Well, that’s how the weather in San Diego has been as of late. Like many people, I’m not a fan of unpredictable weather, and believe me when I say this: I’m that type of person where I already have an outfit(s) planned two or three days beforehand.

Heck, I even have backups, too.

I guess this might seem pretty strange for some, but that’s how devastating the weather can be for someone like me. I know, I’m such a control freak, it hurts.

When my mom gave me this vintage, oversized sweater, I knew we were meant to be. Since then, we’ve been in a very steady relationship for a long time. Although it is bulky, it’s a versatile piece as I can turn it into a dress when it’s warm out, making it one of my favorite Valentine’s Day outfits.

Sweater: from my mom lol | Choker: the Philippines | Booties: Charlotte Russe | Ring: from my mom again

Taken at the infamous Balboa Park here in now sunny San Diego, this shoot in particular is one my most memorable ones like trying to climb this monster rock for example. Anyone get the Steven Universe reference?

Typically, I take photos by myself, but this time my boyfriend helped out, surprising me in the process with his knack of perspective and taking candids once again.

P.S. I almost fell down and broke my ankle, fyi. Worth it. Maybe I should make a gif out of it or something. What do you think?

Be sure to stay tuned- there will be more Galentine’s inspiration heading your way!

    1. I’m glad that you liked it! It’s doing well now, haha. I’m prone to getting sprained ankles since I injured it when playing soccer a long time ago. 😛
      I will!
